As I lost most of my data a month ago when My computer hard drive broke, I have to begin to rebuild the projects I had been working on, on the bright side, I now know how to make them better than before!
Here is an early version of the Milky Way I built a while ago, hopefully it will be more realistic and pretty when I've fiished, I've just layed down the disk stars, the arms and the bulge and bar, still have dust, nebulae, globulars, and detailed spurs to add

We are gathered here today on this sorrowful occasion to say goodbye to the dearly departed electronic data - even if the computers have forgotten all about you, we will remain to remember of thee!
I must agree though, sometimes getting forced to redo things does overall end up leading to a noticeable quality increase, even if it still will ever be a bittersweet feeling of an accomplishment ^_^; either way YAY pretty stars all over the place and sparkly!
